The Oeko-tex standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for the chain of custody for all types of textile production. The Confidence in Textiles label on every product that following the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 indicates that the manufacturer is certified as Oeko-Tex Standard 100 friendly. the environment both in processes and in factories, and tested for the non-use of harmful substances. The certification was established in 1992 and is awarded by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Sector Textile Ecology, an association created in collaboration with many workshops around the world.
